Roger and Eleanor Barnes of Oswego, NY are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Marie Barnes to Stephen Eric Chambers. Stephen is the son of Ed and Susan Chambers of Lakeland, Fla. A November 23, 2013, wedding in Saratoga Springs, NY, is being planned.
The spirit of Spring Cleaning was all around the Fulton War Memorial this weekend. The city of Fulton and Fulton Community Development Agency hosted the 2013 Fulton Area Home Show. The event was at capacity with 40 vendor booths set up and an expected attendance of around 500 patrons.
My neighbor just told me that heartworm in cats is becoming a problem and that I should have all of my cats on a heartworm preventative. She made me feel sort of guilty, I can just barely afford the heartworm preventative for my dog, much less my cats? Is this really necessary?

The Oswego City School District Board of Education will conduct its committee meetings followed by a brief regular meeting at the Education Center Board Room on April 9. The committees will be called to order at 5 p.m. with the regular board meeting to follow.
