The Fulton City School District invites children who turn five years old on or before December 1, 2013 to register for Kindergarten. Children who will turn four years old on or before December 1, 2013 are invited to register for our Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program.
Nina Jackowski and her sister, Nicole, used to joke about owning a dance studio when they grew up. The sisters have been dancing for almost 13 years, first at Joan Ezzo’s studio in Fulton, and then as Officers and Choreographers for SUNY Oswego’s Del Sarte Dance Club.
Well, it’s no joke anymore.
The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County.
“I believe in the United Way and the good things they do in Oswego County.” And so began the video tribute to those make a difference in their community every day, the treasured volunteers of the United Way. Produced by Lauren Daniels, the video was one of the highlights of United Way’s Annual Meeting and Salute to Volunteers.
A pancake breakfast to benefit the Oswego High School Band program will be held Sunday (March 24) at the Oswego Elks Club on West Bridge Street. The breakfast is sponsored by the OHS Band Parents’ Association and food will be served from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Recently, Alice and all the characters of Wonderland came to life as the Kingsford Park Elementary School Chorus received a standing ovation from family, friends and students as the cast performed on stage of the Robinson-Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Four musicians, all originally from Oswego, have each followed many roads that led them to come full circle and band together to form the area’s newest rock group, Street Level. The band will make its second local appearance on March 29 at Thunder Road (234 E. Albany St.)
Superintendent Bill Crist will formally present his 2013-14 budget proposal at next week’s school board meeting. The tentative budget, right now, is $78, 402,453.
