Four vehicles involved in a chain reaction rear-end collision
Four vehicles were involved in a chain reaction rear-end MVA, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. The accident reportedly happened at Soule Road and Fairway Drive East shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One of the drivers, an Oswego resident, and her passenger suffered minor injuries, deputies said.

The Oswego Lions Club will hold its 15th annual Wine and Beer tasting with silent auction Friday at the American Foundry in Oswego. The event is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with pre-sale tickets $15 and $20 at the door the night of the event.

Nominating Petitions Available for Sandy Creek Board Seat
Nominating petitions are now available for one 5-year Sandy Creek Board of Education seat. Interested candidates can pick up a nominating petition at the office of the District Clerk located in the District Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Completed petitions must be returned to the District Clerk by 4 p.m. on April 22.

Leadership Oswego County to support seniors through gift bags
The class of 2013 for Leadership Oswego County, a program of SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, is kicking off its “Supporting Our Seniors” campaign.
The class will focus on providing gift bags for residents of selected senior living facilities in Oswego County. The bags will contain items identified as needed by those living there.
