The NAPA Late Model class will continue to be an integral part of the weekly racing program at Fulton Speedway in 2013, the fourth consecutive season the GM crate powered Late Models have competed at the high banks. Oswego County Opportunities’ Services to Aid Families educator Sara Carmichael was a recent guest presenter in several classes at Sandy Creek’s Middle and High Schools. Carmichael presented separate age-appropriate presentations for eighth, tenth and twelfth graders about safe relationships during a recent week at the school.
Students in Sybil Ruffels’ Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Junior/Senior High School Family and Consumer Science classes made pillowcases and donated them as a community service project to the Oswego County Opportunities’ Services to Aid Families program and the Ronald McDonald House of CNY.
Alyssa Spicer was 6 years old on January 19. She is a kindergarten student, she enjoys school. She is also a Daisy Scout.
