Oswego’s 2-0 weekend has large implications on ECAC West standings as the Lakers now sit four points ahead of Potsdam with one weekend left in the regular season. The women currently sit in third place with 21 points as Plattsburgh and Elmira are in a tie for first with 26 points apiece.

Police say they followed the suspects’ footprints in the snow to their location and arrested them. The two teens are facing felony robbery and conspiracy charges. The investigation is continuing.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team lost its second-straight game 3-2 to Brockport at the Campus Center Ice Arena on Saturday night. Oswego’s loss drops its season mark to 15-6-2 with an 8-5-1 record in the SUNYAC. With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 8-12-3, 5-8-1.
The Oswego State men’s basketball team took a tough loss for the second-straight day as the Lakers fell short 82-72 in overtime at Plattsburgh. Oswego’s loss drops it to an 8-8 mark in conference play, putting them in a tie with Cortland for fifth place.
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team used two shorthanded goals to down host Utica College 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in the Utica Memorial Auditorium. Oswego’s win improves its record to 15-6-1 overall and more importantly to 9-3-1 in ECAC West play.
The Oswego State women’s basketball lost a 75-63 contest at Plattsburgh on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 6-17 on the season and 2-14 in SUNYAC play while the Cardinals improve to 17-5, 12-3.
