The Oswego State baseball team defeated No. 20 Ithaca 4-3 in 11 innings at Laker Baseball Field on Wednesday afternoon. It was Oswego’s third win against a nationally ranked opponent this season as the Lakers improve to 18-8 while the Bombers go to 22-8.
The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Faculty Association and the Pulaski Teachers’ Association will be sponsoring the 3rd Annual Health and Safety Fair on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ringgold Fire Department.
Exploration Night put the world quite literally at the fingertips of Altmar-Parish-Williamstown students. The APW Parent-Teacher-Student Association coordinates a learning exploration event each school year as a way to kick off the school’s Parents/People as Reading Partners initiative.

Multi-instrumentalist Charles Pillow will join three SUNY Oswego ensembles for free public concerts in at 7:30 p.m. consecutive days at Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.
The Oswego County Counselors Association in conjunction with SUNY Oswego is pleased to debut an evening college fair this spring. This event will be the first of its kind at SUNY Oswego, and will be held at the Campus Center on April 28 from 6-8 p.m.
Let’s Run Amok, a new company based out of Oswego, will hold a competition, which started April 22. This contest is aimed at helping fulfill one wish from an individual’s bucket list. On April 27, Dan Guilliams, owner of Let’s Run Amok, will chose one lucky winner and help make that person’s wish come true.
Oswego County Clerk Michael C. Backus is encouraging local residents to save time and money by using one of the three local Department of Motor Vehicles offices for their motor vehicle transactions. Residents can renew their registration at DMVs in Pulaski, Oswego and Fulton.
The annual meeting presentation for the Oswego County Historical Society will be held on May 4 in the Community Room of the Oswego Public Library. Immediately following the meeting will be a special presentation of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Oswego by Paul Lear, superintendent of the Fort Ontario State Historic Site.
