State Street United Methodist Church will be having a Christmas bazaar and auction along with a cafe lunch on December 6. The hours will be from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Oswego State men’s basketball team defeats Hartwick
The Oswego State men’s basketball team defeated Hartwick 60-50 on Sunday evening at Max Ziel Gymnasium. It was the final game of the Max Ziel Classic, as all four teams finished 1-1 after the opening weekend.

Salvation Army’s Annual ‘Red Kettle’ Campaign Under Way
The Oswego County Salvation Army kicked off its ‘Red Kettle’ campaign recently prior to the Oswego County Legislature’s November meeting at the County Office Building. The campaign is the biggest fundraiser for the Salvation Army and its proceeds go toward serving those in need of assistance. This year’s goal of $106,000 is needed to fund the agency’s operating budget.

Harvest Dinner Showcases Diversity of Oswego County Agriculture
What better way to explore the many tastes and textures of Oswego County agriculture than to put it on a plate as part of a hearty dinner? That’s exactly what Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County has done for the past five years during its Oswego County Harvest Dinner. The most recent event was Oct. 3 at The American Foundry in Oswego.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team dropped Bay Path College in an 88-51 contest in the consolation game of the Max Ziel Tournament on Sunday. Oswego’s victory was the first of its season, improving to 1-1, while Bay Path fell to 0-2.

Laker men’s ice hockey team shuts out Naz to cap anniversary weekend
The No. 2 Oswego State men’s ice hockey team extended its win streak to five as it shutout Nazareth College 4-0 at the Marano Campus Center Arena on Saturday night. The win came in front of a nearly sold-out crowd that was beaming with hockey alumni celebrating the program’s 50th anniversary.
