Trinity Students Celebrate Thanksgiving
The students in Mrs. Stephanie Talamo’s Kindergarten class at Trinity Catholic School celebrated Thanksgiving recently. Students enjoyed turkey soup, corn muffins as well the butter they prepared themselves.

The Fulton City School District has announced its schedule of upcoming concerts. A wide variety of instrumental and vocal options are available for your musical delight. All concerts are free and the public is invited to attend.
Fulton Community Theatre will hold open auditions for the romantic comedy “Shooting Star” by Steven Dietz, the first production of its 2015 season. Auditions will be held on December 1 and 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Tavern on the Lock Restaurant and Bar, 24 S. First St.
Recognizing Oswego County’s theme for November is Senior Support. This month, the group focused their lens on efforts within the community to engage with and improve the lives of senior citizens. Adopt-a-Grandparent, an all-volunteer, student run group at SUNY Oswego, was chosen as the Community Champion for November.
It goes without saying that children who spend time reading at home, whether alongside their parents or on their own, are ahead in classroom. In addition to succeeding at school, children who live in homes that focus on reading benefit in other ways too, as studies have shown they have longer attention spans, higher levels of self-confidence, better vocabularies and of course, a love of books.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by to visit at the Pulaski Historical Society as part of “Light Up Pulaski” on Dec. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. Santa will meet and talk with the children in the Carriage House, as well as delight them with a story. Meanwhile, in the museum house, Bev Rossman will be entertaining visitors with music of the Christmas season on her guitar.
The Oswego County Historical Society will host the annual Christmas Open House on December 7 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Richardson-Bates House Museum. The event is free and open to the public. “The historic Richardson-Bates House Museum will be fully decorated in the Victorian style,” said Justin White, president of the board of trustees.”We welcome the community to join us in celebrating the holiday season in the spirit of an old-fashioned Christmas.”
When Oswego Speedway opens the ‘Steel Palace’ gates for its 65th season of racing on May 9 of 2015, Planet Fitness of Oswego will present the blockbuster night of racing featuring the Novelis Supermodifieds, Pathfinder Bank SBS, and the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Tour. Planet Fitness joined the Speedway’s team of partners in 2014, presenting the Novelis Supermodified Kickoff.
