The supervisors of the city of Oswego DPW, came together to help those less fortunate this holiday season. They each contributed enough monies to purchase all of the Angel gift tags, given by the Salvation Army, from their tree.
This Sunday is the Lake City Lodge No. 127 and Lake City Victoria Order of the Eastern Star No. 205 All You Can Eat Christmas Breakfast Buffet Benefit with Santa and raffle to benefit the Oswego Community Youth Orchestra.
The joint concert, which was well attended by family members and friends of the performers, featured the school’s percussion ensemble, symphonic band, concert chorus and wind ensemble, as well as chamber sings and combined choirs.
Judy E. Catalone, 71, of Fulton, died Tuesday December 16, 2014, in University Hospital, Syracuse.

McKenzie Bonner was born in Oswego Hospital on Dec. 12, 2014.
Eloise Shatraw was born in Oswego Hospital on Dec. 11, 2014.
Parents of Special Children, Inc., recently hosted a Disguise Your Turkey contest. People of all ages decorated cardboard turkeys and brought their “disguised turkeys” to the office so they could “hide” from all the farmers.
