Recently, two AmeriCorps members serving at Palermo Elementary School, DawnDaLee Doria and Heather Donath, organized a gently used coat and winter wear drive. Many coats were donated along with snow pants, boots, gloves and hats.
SUNY Oswego’s Mentor-Scholar Program brought science, technology and innovation to more than 150 undergraduates and secondary students during campus visits on Nov. 19 and 20.
The students are able to play outdoors daily by running in the open fields or playing in the enclosed playground. Outdoor play is planned into the daily schedule twice a day. Discovery Learning Center has limited openings for children 18 months to 12 years old.
The CCC Fulton Campus Healthy Living Club recently sold raffle baskets to faculty, staff and students with proceeds being donated to S.A.F. in Oswego. The charge from S.A.F. was for the club to donate under garments for the SAFE House.
