Vague de Cirque Acrobats To Bring Big Top To Oswego Campus

A circus wave — the English meaning of Vague de Cirque — strikes the shore of Lake Ontario when eight versatile international acrobats perform in a heated yellow tent on the SUNY Oswego campus with 7:30 p.m. shows Wednesday through Friday, April 15 to 17, and at 2 p.m. April 18. Quebec-based Vague de Cirque is the creation of Alain Boudreaux and Noemie Gervais, two accomplished alums of Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Eloize with their own vision for the popular art form.

Men’s Lax Leading The Way For St. Baldrick’s

The Oswego State men’s lacrosse team is raising money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, an international organization dedicated to funding research to find cures for childhood cancers. With 18 Oswego players, an assistant coach and the head coach all registered as to get their heads shaved, the 20-member fundraising team is currently the largest of the 30 teams signed up for this year’s annual St. Baldrick’s Day in Oswego.
