The second annual Oswego City Bike Rodeo will be held June 5, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the open lot adjacent to the Oswego Eastside Fire Station. In the event of rain, the rodeo will move indoors to the Eastside Fire House. Dominoes will be on hand with free pizza and Oswego Speedway drivers and their cars will be on display as well as local agencies.
CNY Arts Center’s Dessert Theatre Series returns for one night only on May 30 with 1940s Old Time Radio. The show will be set at a radio station and will feature pop songs of the decade focusing on wartime and post war songs, commercials and skits complete with live sound effects.
The Central New York Community Foundation is now accepting grant applications for the Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund. The grant application deadline is June 30. Applications are accepted from nonprofit organizations serving the village of Pulaski and the town of Richland.

Oswego County STOP-DWI Coordinator Robert Lighthall announced today that Oswego County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving. The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on May 22 and will end on May 28. Memorial Day week is historically a deadly period for impaired driving.

Michael McAndrew has announced his candidacy for Oswego County District Attorney. Currently, McAndrew serves as principal court attorney to the Honorable Walter Hafner Jr. in Oswego County Court and State Supreme Court. His campaign is focused on returning the District Attorney’s Office to the people of Oswego County.
The family-friendly, naturalist-led walks through shady woods and wetlands will take place June 6 and 20; July 11, 18 and 25 and Aug. 1, 8 and 15 at Rice Creek, the college’s 400-acre, mixed terrain property and biological field station on Thompson Road about a mile south of the main campus. Free parking is available by the main building and near the main gate.
