Third grade students from Granby Elementary School in Mrs. Murdoch’s class and their kindergarten buddies in Mrs. Van Buren’s classroom joined forces with Kelly Weaver, Friends of Fulton City Parks, to spruce up Recreation Park as part of a project based learning initiative called “taking pride in your community.”
Norbert “Norb” Loosen, 81, of Fulton, passed away after a long illness Tuesday May 12, 2015 ,at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY, surrounded by his loving family.
At this week’s Common Council meeting, the mayor cast the deciding vote on a request for a waiver of the noise ordinance. Councilors granted five variances of the noise ordinance. Oswego County residents have collectively saved more than $8 million on nearly 230,000 prescriptions since the County Legislature implemented the ProAct prescription discount card program in February 2008. The program is designed to help un-insured and underinsured residents save money on their prescription medications through a no-cost hassle-free prescription drug card.
