The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 24 Oswego, is offering a Boating Safely class on May 16 at the Sandy Pond Sportsman Association, 3201 County Route 15, Sandy Creek from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tasty burgers, golden fries and ice cream was the order of the day as residents from Morningstar Residential Care Center enjoyed a lunch outing to McDonald’s. The lunch outing was one of several that Morningstar residents will have the chance to enjoy throughout the spring and summer.

Even just green!” said Cindy Paine, who owns Oliver Paine Greenhouses with her husband, Oliver. Local greenhouses and gardens are preparing for the warm weather that makes it possible to grow flowers, vegetables and herbs.
