Pulaski Student Earns National Recognition For Artwork

Pulaski High School student Sarah Clark earned national recognition and a silver medal in The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2015. Clark has been identified by panels of creative professionals as one of the most talented young artists in the nation. 300,000 works of art and writing were submitted and only one percent of those students were recognized at the national level.

AmeriCorps Helps Communications Student Develop Her Leadership Skills

Last summer, Vanessa Langdon served as an AmeriCorps member at the Fulton Public Library. She initiated a successful Teen Advisory Council and oversaw a group of teens who met weekly to improve the library’s teen book section and participated in a book club. They also did a cleanup project that beautified the library grounds. She will return for her third term of service with Oswego AmeriCorps this summer.
