The Oswego County Fair Housing Council recently announced the winners of its 2015 coloring contest.
Community Bank, Fulton Savings Bank, Pathfinder Bank and Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego each donated gift certificates as prizes.

Rev. John F. Hogan Jr., pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, displays the beautiful handmade queen size quilt that will be one of the prize drawings during St. Mary’s annual bazaar.

Full volume tests of the new sirens installed by Exelon Generation and Entergy Nuclear will continue Tuesday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 28, with three-minute soundings of all sirens at once at approximately 10 a.m. Postcards mailed to residents of the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone surrounding the nuclear power plants inadvertently gave an incorrect date on the full-system tests.

Oswego mayoral candidate Amy Tresidder will welcome community members to the opening of her campaign headquarters Thursday (July 9), from 6 to 8 p.m. The new Tresidder for Mayor headquarters is located at 161 W. First St.

Kenney Middle School was recently visited by Kindred Kingdoms Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc., an organization dedicated to the care and release of injured birds of prey in Central and Northern New York.

Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club held its annual Changing of the Guard recently. 2014-2015 President Dennis Goss turned over the duties of the office to 2015-2016 President Betty Maute.

CNY Arts Center announces auditions for its fall production of Oliver!, the musical based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel Oliver Twist. Auditions will be held July 15 from 4-7 p.m. (kids 4-5:30 and adults 5:30-7) and July 19 from 1-5 p.m. (kids 1-3 and adults 3-5).

The college wishes to congratulate Camille Graham of Oswego, who earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting.
