The Zonta Club of Oswego is dedicated to advancing the status of women. On September 25, the proceeds of the 31st Annual Amelia Earhart Woman of Achievement recognition ceremony will be used to support four scholarships and several service projects for women in Oswego County.
Ana Alcasid has been selected to be a part of the Army All-American Marching Band. She will perform next year during halftime of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. Oswego has been represented by at least one band member every year since the selection process began. Alcasid is the 14th OHS student in nine years to earn the honor of being in the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band.
