The Springside Knitting Club recently donated knitted and crocheted lap blankets to Oswego County Hospice as part of a yearlong project. The lap blankets were handmade by residents of Springside.
At its meeting Monday night, the Administrative Services Committee recommended earmarking funds now to complete a granted project begun years ago. The project was started back in 2006, Justin Rudgick, community development director, told the committee. The facility will help attract more visitors to the Port City and generate increased revenue, councilors said.
