On November 22, the Hannibal Historical Society will host a Christmas Tree Lighting in the Village Square, Hannibal. At approximately 3 p.m., Santa will arrive and be available for little ones to share their Christmas wish lists.

The New York State Police is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:37 p.m. on State Route 3 near the intersection of Florida Ave in the town of Volney. At this time the names of those involved are not being released pending notification of family members.

Lanigan Elementary teachers recently received the designation of Teachers of the Year by the Wal-Mart in Granby. Wal-Mart employees Angela Blanchard and Samantha McLoughlin presented a sheet cake to the school’s 43 teachers.
