Rotarian Colin Hogan introduced Jim Farfaglia, who talked about his book “Blizzard of ‘66” at a recent meeting. He recounted many wonderful stories that he learned while writing the book. It took him about 1 ½ years of research to finish it.

SUNY Oswego’s School of Education has begun accepting applications for a new master’s degree program to fill a demonstrated workforce need — regionally, across the state and nationally — for teachers of special education in grades 7 to 12.

Phoenix Central School District seniors Kellen Arnold and Zachary Van Gorder have been named the top two students in the John C. Birdlebough High School Class of 2016. Arnold was recently named valedictorian and Van Gorder earned salutatorian honors.

Students of Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District participated in the 33rd Central New York Model United Nations conference held at Syracuse University recently.
