Car Show Set At Mexico VFW
The sixth annual car show to be held at the Mexico VFW Post 369, organized by the Men’s Auxiliary will be on June 12. It will be held at the VFW Field, Route 3 North.

Buddy and Porky Pet Health – More About Pets and Hot Cars
Last week we talked about the problem of animals dying in hot cars every summer, and the law in New York that makes this a crime. Although our statute, Agriculture & Markets Law 353-d, is not perfect, in our opinion, it is certainly better than nothing! We have discovered that only 21 states out of 50 have any legislation criminalizing the act of leaving animals in danger in unattended cars.

Military Service Bill to Include All Veterans
Last week, New York state extended to all veterans who are members of the New York State retirement system the ability to purchase military service credit. I am honored to have been one of the many members in the State Legislature who sponsored and supported the bill.
