The number thirteen was lucky for Tim Sears Jr. Saturday at the Fulton Speedway in the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds on Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility night. Sears started thirteenth in the 35-lap feature quickly working his way into the top five. Once at the front of the field, Sears was locked in a three-way battle with Billy Whittaker and Ryan Phelps at the front of the field.
Linda L. Schuler, 63, of Lamson Road, Phoenix, passed away at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse on Saturday July 23, 2016.

Several local businesses and organizations will be on hand for the event, which will feature a variety of activities including children’s games and prizes, a bike rodeo and power wheels track, free child ID cards, bounce house, and information on a variety of local services.
The third annual Lake Ontario Central New York Lighthouse Challenge will take place this year on August 5, 6 and 7. The challenge is to visit eight unique New York lighthouses within three days. The official Challenge route runs east from Rock Island Light to the West to a new site, 30 Mile Point outside of Rochester.
Oliver Robert Doran was born in Oswego Hospital on July 21, 2016, at 4 p.m.
Declan Martin and Pirate King (Brian Kocher) enjoy swabbing the deck and a bit of pirate carousing at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum’s Kids’ Pirate Day. Tickets are available for the final Kids’ Pirate Day of the season to be held July 27 from 1 – 3 p.m.
Oswego Health’s upcoming MASH Camp offers area students the opportunity to learn about careers in the healthcare field as they take part in fun hands-on activities. During the two-day camp to be held August 3 and 4 at Oswego Hospital, the students will be taught how to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
