CNY Arts Center is proud to announce local musicians Jason Bean and Gina Holsopple will share the stage for one night only, July 16, at the Arts Center at 8 p.m. Both have performed on separate occasions at the Arts Center, but never together.

The chair of the city of Oswego Promotion & Tourism Advisory Board presented a plan that is designed to entice visitors who come to Oswego for an event to come back for others. The board is proposing to initially start promoting the Port City during the upcoming Harborfest, Ellen Clark, chair, said. By exposing the thousands of visitors to Harborfest to what else the city has to offer in the way of other events and festivals, she said will draw many back to Oswego.

The Addiction Awareness Group, started last year by Cori Welch and Amy Pelow, is planning its first Addiction Awareness Walk for August 21. The walk is free and open to the public to spread awareness about the growing problem of addiction.
