Oswego Burglary Suspect Apprehended

On Wednesday (October 5), at about 11:50 p.m., 22-year-old Estevan L Gonzalez of Oswego, was observed by patrol officers and identified as a possible suspect in recent reported burglary cases. As police approached Gonzalez, he reportedly fled on foot. Gonzalez was stopped by police near the intersection of West Fifth Street and Niagara streets.

Hundreds of Laker student-athletes take part in an annual day of service by SUNY Oswego's 24 intercollegiate teams. Student-athletes again plan to rake leaves for senior citizens within the city of Oswego on Nov. 6. Laker Student-Athletes To Rake Leaves For Senior Citizens Nov. 6

In its 12th year at SUNY Oswego, the project is part of an annual statewide community-service project by Student-Athlete Advisory Council chapters at some SUNY Athletic Conference colleges. SAAC’s mission is to generate a student-athlete voice among Oswego’s intercollegiate teams and to enhance school spirit within athletics.
