Ritchie Secures More Than $12,000 To Improve STEM Programs In Schools
In an effort to better prepare students for futures in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, also known as STEM careers, State Senator Patty Ritchie has delivered $12,500 in special funding to enhance programs based in those subject areas in Jefferson and Oswego County schools.

Oswego Speedway officials have announced their 67th annual, 12-weekend schedule featuring the Novelis Supermodified and Pathfinder Bank SBS ‘Road to the Championship’, as well as the return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Classic Weekend, a mid-Summer Race of Champions, and the third annual Port City ‘Super Spectacle.’

Oswego City School District Public Hearing Set Jan. 3
On January 3, the Oswego City School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing regarding the January 10 public vote regarding two propositions. The public hearing will be held at the Oswego City School District Education Center board room and will start at 5 p.m. before the committee and regular board meeting which will start immediately following the public hearing.
