Fulton Based Contractor to Continue Work on Former Nestles Site

City officials accepted a bid from Rowlee Construction, Inc. yesterday (May 18) at a special meeting of the Common Council relative to the remaining asbestos and demolition removal at the former Nestles site. Specifically, the Fulton based construction company will remove the debris left on the 2.2 acre parcel of the former Nestles site that is designated for supermarket chain, Aldi.

Young Artists From Oswego Schools To Display Their Work In My Hometown Banner Project

SUNY Oswego and the Oswego City School District will publicly kick off the My Hometown Banner Project with a free reception for the district’s young artists from 4 to 8 p.m. May 26, in Tyler Art Gallery on the college campus. An exhibition titled “My Hometown: A Celebration of Visual Art by Our Younger Citizens” will run May 26 to June 18 in Tyler Hall’s recently modernized gallery.

Grace Lutheran Community Dinner to benefit Human Concerns

Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church will host a community dinner on May 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. The dinner will feature roast pork with all the fixings including red cabbage, coleslaw, noodles, applesauce, rolls, and dessert. The dinner is one of several community outreach events that Grace Lutheran hosts throughout the year.
