I have never taken a voyage aboard one of the popular big ship cruises. But I am a fan of small ship river cruises, especially in Asia. I love river travel. Asian rivers are dynamic. They transport people and goods plus many towns and cities grew up along waterways. At low water time, the fertile shore become gardens.
With all the heavy rains we have received at the Fulton Speedway and more rain in the forecast speedway officials have cancelled Saturday, May 6, racing program. Racing will return on May 13 when Ferris Mowers & VP Small Engine Fuels presents a five star racing program.

The Oswego County Health Department reported today (May 5) that a bat has tested positive for rabies in the town of Albion. As a result of its exposure to the rabid bat, a house cat which had not been vaccinated must be placed in quarantine for six months. This is the second case of rabies confirmed in the past week and the third this year in Oswego County.

Betty J. Keding, 89, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at home.
Rev. Robert B. Stephenson, 69, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at St. Luke Residential Health Services in Oswego after a brief illness.
Edith Clark, 97, of Fulton, will have a committal service and burial at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
