FULTON, NY – The Friends of History In Fulton, Inc. would like to cordially invite you to an open house at the John Wells Pratt House Museum on Sunday (May 20) from 1:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The John Wells Pratt House Museum, located at 177 S. First St., is home to the Friends of History in Fulton, N.Y., Inc. and stands as a registered location on the National and State Register of Historic Places since its designation in the year 2000.
Inside, historic Fulton memorabilia floods from the rooms of the museum, housed in an original home from 1861, the year John Pratt began construction of the home.
The upstairs of the house remains filled with themed historical pieces from Fulton’s rich history. However, the downstairs rooms of the museum showcase new displays each year.
This year, the Pratt House Museum open house will be highlighting a Nestle display on the first floor of the house.
However, should you want to see more, Friends of History staff would gladly give tours.
Light refreshments will be served.
