Oswego Man Pleads Guilty In Cayuga County Court

48-year-old Timothy Oleyourryk, of State Route 104A, Oswego, plead guilty this afternoon (Feb. 14) in Cayuga County Court. before Judge Mark H. Fandrich, to Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury Accident Without Reporting to Police, a Class A Misdemeanor. On December 10, 2016, at approximately 10 p.m., Oleyourryk was operating a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD extended cab pickup truck, equipped with a V-Plow on it, in a northeasterly direction on Old State Road in the town of Sterling during a severe lake effect snowstorm when he struck an intoxicated 19-year-old man who was walking home (in the road) from a friend’s house.

Diocese Of Syracuse Announces Independent Reconciliation Compensation Program For Survivors Of Clergy Sexual Abuse

Bishop Cunningham announced today (Feb. 14) the establishment of a voluntary Independent Reconciliation Compensation Program for survivors of clergy sexual abuse. The purpose of the program is to promote reconciliation and further healing of those who were harmed by members of the clergy.

‘Hooray for Hollywood’ Bowl-A-Fun Helps The Homeless

Roll out the red carpet. It’s time to prepare for one of Oswego County Opportunities’ most popular community events, the annual Bowl-A-Fun! This year’s bowling tournament and fundraiser will be held April 14 at Lakeview Lanes in Fulton beginning at 11 a.m. The theme for the OCO Bowl of Fun is “Hooray for Hollywood! – Bowl A Strike Against Homelessness” and proceeds will support efforts to help the homeless.
