Shullick Speeds to Fourth Victory of 2018 in C’s Beverage Summer Championship

Defending Novelis Supermodified champion Dave Shullick Jr. took off from his fifth place starting spot to win the C’s Beverage ‘Summer Championship’ this past Saturday night at the Oswego Speedway. It was the fourth victory of the season for the North Ridgeville, Ohio, driver and the ninth of his non-wing career at the Steel Palace.

Documentary Preserves Cousins’ Memories Of Oswego’s Safe Haven

A SUNY Oswego faculty member, Juliet Aires Giglio wants to share a piece of her family’s history with the world. The story has international appeal. The subjects of the story are Rikica Giglio, 81 (formerly Rikica Levi) and David Levi, 81 (first cousin to Rikica and her sister, Ella Levi, 73, who was born at the Fort Ontario Safe Haven site March 12, 1945). The stories the Levis tell are personal for Giglio — Rikica Levi is her husband’s mother; David, his cousin once removed. “If Safe Haven had not been available for the Levis, my husband (Keith Giglio) would not be here,” Giglio told Oswego County Today.

John and I love museums but we had never heard of this one, mainly because it is new. It is also very innovative and a bit hard to explain. The museum is 9,000 square feet with areas set up in a variety of sets: Rain Forest, art gallery, Salem, medieval dining room, archeology, and more – all unique and interesting.
