The Fulton Amateur Radio Club will host a Technician Licensing Class on September 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. and it will run through November 20, with the test being November 27 (weather dependent). The class will be held at the Oswego County office building, across from Mimi’s restaurant in Fulton.

A new school year is filled with potential, a chance to start new routines and habits, build new friendships and discover new possibilities and interests. However, at the end of the school day, 1 in 5 children kids do not have someone to care for them after school.

Several Oswego City School District students experienced increased knowledge, friendships and other successes during the recent six-week extended school year summer program at Leighton Elementary School.

The Minetto United Methodist Church will host a free dinner on August 26, serving from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu, subject to change, will be BBQ pork sandwiches, salads, chips, fruit and dessert. Donations are not expected but will be accepted.
