Sheriff’s Office Plans Public Safety Day
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office will hold its fifth annual Public Safety Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Oswego County Highway Garage on Schaad Drive, just off Route 104 East in Scriba.

New York Sea Grant has updated the New York Invasive Species Information Clearinghouse website at nyis.info to include iMapInvasive maps that allow for real-time information, watercraft inspection, and more user-friendly navigation.

Trailer Race of Destruction, Fan Fest Plus Racing Saturday, August 3 At The Fulton Speedway
If you have never seen a Trailer Race of Destruction, they use the entire speedway for chaos and mayhem to destroy their opponents to be the last one standing with their trailer still attached to their vehicle to collect the $1,000-to-win top prize. Other awards are $100-Best Appearing Entry, $100 Most Original Entry, $100 Master of Destruction.
