Ambassador Dani Dayan Scheduled to be Featured Speaker at Aug. 5 Refugee Shelter Commemoration Program
A special event commemorating the Aug. 5 1944 arrival of 982 Holocaust refugees at the Fort Ontario Emergency Refugee Shelter in Oswego, and likely the last reunion of the shelter’s surviving refugees, is planned by the 75th Anniversary Planning Committee for Aug. 5.

Stop All The Whining
My take on the request by the Majority Caucus asking for an increase from two-year terms to four-year terms. “League of their own” most famous line is “Crying, are you crying? There is no crying in baseball.” Well I say, “Are you whining? There is no whining in the legislature.”
