Today, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY), U.S. Representatives Andrew Garbarino (R-NY-2), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY-12), Anthony D’Esposito (R-NY-4), and Daniel Goldman (D-NY-10), Senators Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Cory Booker (D-NJ), 9/11 health program advocates, and 9/11 responders and survivors announced the bipartisan 9/11 Responder and Survivor Health Funding Correction Act of 2023 to close the funding shortfall in the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP).

Remembering Flying Tiger Line Flight 739

Sixty-one years ago on March 16, 1962, Flying Tiger Line Flight 739 (FTLF 739) and its crew, departed on a secret mission sanctioned by President Kennedy, to fly to Vietnam. This secret Vietnam reconnaissance mission went missing with no trace of the plane or its passengers ever found. Onboard were 93 United States Army soldiers and 11 civilian crewmembers.
