Employees of Eastern Shore Associates Insurance (ESA) headquarters in Fulton entered a team in Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County’s (LVOC) 4th annual Diane Falise Memorial Scrabble Fest fundraiser on April 23. LVOC offers free, one-on-one literacy programs for adults aged 16 years and older who cannot read above a 5th grade level which also includes basic finance literacy, basic computer literacy, and English as a second language. The most recent U.S. Census data show that there are more than 17,000 adults in Oswego County who are eligible for LVOC services.
