CreekSide Counseling Services (CCS), —a new agency serving adolescents aged 13 and up, and adults in Oswego County—opened recently at 335 W. 1st St. (Time Warner Bldg.), it was announced by Jody Fiorini, Ph.D., owner. The new service will host an open house from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wed., June 30. Fiorini (standing) is with her office manager, Samantha Fiorini, in one of the counseling suites. “Our agency specializes in serving our clients’ needs regarding: divorce and separation; Sexual Orientation; Depression; Obsessive Compulsive Disorders; Anxiety and Panic; grief and loss; and Relationship issues,” Fiorini said. “We also offer counseling on parenting issues, coping with disability, and life transition issues. There is a shortage of mental health counselors in Oswego County and we are here to help meet those needs.” CCS is open evenings and weekends by appointment and they accept many insurance plans. “We also have flexible rates for those who do not qualify for insurance,” Fiorini said.
