Oswego County Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) is building its first office outside of Oswego in the former railroad depot at 5530 Scenic Ave. (Route 3) in Mexico. The office is scheduled to open in late November, said Bill Carhart, OCFCU CEO. The depot, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, built in 1905 by the Oswego and Rome Railroad and last used as a railroad depot in 1940. Here workers begin to frame the main entrance. OCFCU has two offices in Oswego. The 300 W. 1st St. office can be reached at 326-0138 and the 175 E. 7th St. office can be reached at 343-7822.
