Jeff Brown, 53

Jeff Brown, 53, of Oswego, died Friday at University Hospital in Syracuse.  A native of Mississippi, Jeff had resided in New Jersey and Syracuse before moving to live in Oswego.  He was a self employed house painter and previously worked at Sherwin-Williams Paints and for several moving companies. Jeff was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous which he was associated with for the past 15 years.  He enjoyed life and making people laugh.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Brown of Oswego; his sisters, Sadie, Cora, Shelly and Naomi all of Mississippi and Anne of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews and his godchild, Semaj.  Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Cora Brown and by a brother, Sam.

Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday with a 1 p.m. service at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Oswego.
