Lanigan Elementary fifth graders dressed the part of historical figures like George Washington, Jane Goodall and Harriet Tubman for a real-life museum.
Students selected politicians, inventors and civil rights leaders, completed research on their subjects and finally, costumed up for museum visiting hours.
Fellow students, parents and teachers were afforded the opportunity to engage in conversation with these heroes and heroines of history.
Other figures present were Ruby Bridges, Sacagawea, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Derek Jeter, Michael Jordan, Frederick Douglass and Albert Einstein.
