Danny Oostdyk of G and G Animals brought youth who participated in their Camp Foundations “Junior Zookeeper for A Week” program to St. Luke for an afternoon of fun and learning.

Each “Junior Zookeeper” presented an educational program sharing what they had learned about various reptiles, amphibians and mammals with all of the residents who had gathered for this event.

The students also walked around with the animals giving residents a chance to meet them.

The program was a big hit with St. Luke residents and rewarding to the young zookeepers who did a great job talking about what made each animal unique and explaining all that goes into their care on a daily basis.
