Area SUNY Potsdam Students Named to President’s List

POTSDAM, NY – The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 861 students to the President’s List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Spring 2014 semester.

The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by Interim President Dr. Dennis L. Hefner.

The students included:

Mary Finn of Oswego, NY, whose major is Psychology.
Christopher Halsey of Mexico, NY, whose major is Mathematics.
Joseph Locci of Parish, NY, whose major is Environmental Studies.
Mackenzie Palmer of Oswego, NY, whose major is Chemistry.
Nicole Potter of Oswego, NY, whose major is Biology.
James Schwartz of Bernhards Bay, NY, whose major is Politics.
Miranda Sereno of Oswego, NY, whose major is Childhood/Early Childhood Education.
Katrina Sheats of Pulaski, NY, whose major is Music Business.
Cooper Sheldon of Mexico, NY, whose major is Archaeological Studies.
Jordan Smith of Richland, NY, whose major is Psychology.
Megan Snow of Pulaski, NY, whose major is Community Health.
Mark Sobierajski of Cato, NY, whose major is Computer Science.
Taylor Weese of Phoenix, NY, whose major is Psychology.
Marcus Wolf of Oswego, NY, whose major is English and Creative Writing.

To achieve the honor of being on the President’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
