Richard Phillip Kline, (R), councilman, town of Schroeppel, has announced his candidacy to serve as legislator for Oswego County’s 12th Legislative District. Kline owns and operates his family farm in the Sandridge area.
There’s still time to be entered in the final Aug. 8 Early Bird drawing for The Fulton Lions Club’s 11th annual “Lions Loot” sweepstakes, it was announced by club President Don LaBarge.
Fulton’s Lions, Kiwanis, Rotary and Sunrise Rotary clubs have again partnered with tournament title sponsor Eastern Shore Associates Insurance for the ‘Swing 4 Service’ Fourth Annual Golf Open, Aug. 17 at Emerald Crest Golf Course, Palermo.
Singer-Songwriter Christopher Battles will be performing from 5-6 p.m. uly 26, at the rivers’ end bookstore, 19 W. Bridge St., to raise funds for the Literacy Coalition of Oswego County. All donations at this performance will go directly to LCOC.
Patrick Fink and Nikki King, 2013 graduates of G. Ray Bodley High School, were awarded the Fulton Lions Club’s 2013 H. and Mary Dowd Memorial Scholarship and John Scaringi Memorial Scholarship respectively.
Elizabeth Aliff was hired recently as a commercial lines customer service representative at Eastern Shore Associates Insurance (ESA) it was announced by Martha Murray, president. Aliff will be based in ESA’s Fulton office.
Pharmacist Zachary Merry recently joined the staff at The Fulton Medicine Place, 360 W. First St., said Frank Badagnani, owner.
“Following that game there was little time for celebration as we were informed that we need to be in Montgomery, NY on July 8 for the NYS Championship Tournament. To make that trip, we need to raise $5,000 to cover our expenses,” the coach said.
The Fulton Lions Club installed its new slate of officers for 2013-14 and presented club awards for the 2012-13-club year at its June 13 meeting.
Seth DeLisle, son of Kathy and R.J. DeLisle, Mark Pollock, son of Mark and MaryBeth Pollock and Matt Nelson, son of Tammy and Doug Feeney and Kirk and Ginger Nelson have been named 2013 Brine National High School All-Americans and have been selected to represent the Syracuse region at the 2013 Brine National Lacrosse Classic.
