Sitterly had gotten tangled up in a massive, 12-car calamity just one round into the 75-lap event. However, the pilot of the blue No. 7 was able to make repairs, race his way through the field and take the lead away from Hannibal’s Brian Sweeney on the 44th lap to earn the win.
Dave Danzer earned his third Novelis supermodified feature win Saturday night at the Oswego Speedway. Wrestling the lead away from early front-runner Tim Devendorf on the 39th lap, Danzer would race unchallenged the rest of the way. It was the third top-five finish of the year for the Oswego native and pilot of the Hawk Racing Chassis No. 52.
Fulton’s Dalton Doyle visited victory lane for the first time on Saturday night at the Oswego Speedway, capturing the small block supermodified 35-lap main event. After winning his qualifying heat race, Doyle’s No. 01 slipped past Jeremy Pitcher’s No. 14 on an early race restart to take over the lead.
Volney’s Jason Simmons tasted victory lane for the very first time Saturday night at the Oswego Speedway, racing his D&S Landscaping No. 98 into the history books in winning the annual Tony White Memorial event.
