Oswego State men’s ice hockey team tops Plattsburgh
The nationally-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team handed No. 4/4 Plattsburgh just its second loss in SUNYAC play 4-3 during the regular season finale on Saturday night at Stafford Ice Arena. Oswego’s win improves its record to 17-6-2 overall and 10-5-1 in conference play while the Cardinals fall to 19-4-2, 12-2-2.
Laker men’s basketball team knocks off Cortland in OT
The Oswego State men’s basketball team clinched the No. 4 seed in the SUNYAC Championship with a 78-76 overtime win over host Cortland on Saturday afternoon. Oswego’s win improved its conference mark to 10-8 while Cortland fell to 9-9, earning the No. 5 seed and setting up a rematch between the two teams at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night in Max Ziel Gymnasium.
Oswego State women’s ice hockey team falls to No. 1 Plattsburgh
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team wrapped the 2013-14 regular season with a 2-0 loss to No. 1 Plattsburgh on Saturday afternoon at the Campus Center Ice Arena. With the loss, Oswego finishes the regular season with its best mark in program history, ending 16-8-1 overall and 10-5-1 in ECAC West play.
