Named “FitzGibbons Insurance Athletes of the Month” for October were Lady Buc diver Hailey Ihlow and volleyball athlete Dylan Lavner.

Jesse Klefbeck, David Britt and Matthew Williams were raised to the degree of Master Mason on November 27 at Lake City Lodge No. 127 in Oswego. The Masons gathered for a meal of meatloaf and mashed potatoes prepared by Victoria Lake City Easter Star.

The Friends of the Oswego Library present an author talk and book signing with Christie Casciano, author of The Puck Hog Volume 2: Haunted Hockey in Lake Placid. It will be held at the Oswego Public Library Community Room December 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Oswego Film Group presents a free screening of the 1940 romantic comedy/drama Remember the Night on December 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St.

The holiday family spirit is alive and well on the Oswego Players’ stage, with multiple members of five families having roles in director Troy Pepper’s, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
