Visitors experienced an authentic campsite portraying a company in Washington’s Continental Army. Cooking, musical and firing demonstrations were presented by interpretors depicting what their individual role would have been during the latter part of the Revolution.
Claudine H. “Babe” (Blake) Northrup, 82, formerly of Fulton, died Friday November 9, 2012, at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH, after a period of declining health.
Helen Jane Pittsley, 63, of Scriba passed away Sunday November 11, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
John F. Hotaling, 58, of Fulton passed away Thursday November 8, 2012, at home surrounded by his family.
All Oswego County offices, including the solid waste transfer stations and recycling drop-off centers, will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23 for Thanksgiving.
Catherine H. Clark, 90, a former resident of East Sixth Street, passed
away on Monday November 12, 2012, at St.Luke Health Services.
The sounds of Christmases past, present, and future will fill this air this season as Fulton Community Theatre proudly presents “Pop’s Old-Fashioned Christmas Carol” to benefit the mission Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s Food Pantry.
On November 21 there will be no school for students in grades Pre-K through 12 in the Fulton City School District. All staff will spend the day at G. Ray Bodley High School focusing on Assessment and Technology.
The Speedway and Eagles Fan Club presented monies and awards to the top point getters and achievers in each division, while Mitchell’s Speedway Press inducted six into the Oswego Hall of Fame.
