The SUNY Oswego Metro Center in Syracuse will hold an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. July 18, for those interested in taking advantage of any of the college’s extended-learning opportunities.

Nancy Gritzer Haney, a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully Wednesday June 27, 2012, at the age of 72, with loved ones by her side.
Tony Guiffre, of Simi Valley, Calif., formerly of Sewickley and Wexford, Pa., passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday June 21, 2012, surrounded by his family after a brief, but valiant battle with cancer.
