Maria L. Marturano, 87, a resident of 107 E. Cayuga St., passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2011, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse.
Oswego County will not spray to kill mosquitoes that carry Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
The decision was made, the county’s top health official says, after talking with state Health Department experts. The state’s experts told the county that spraying now would not eliminate EEE.
