“Many auto dealerships are locally owned and operated and played no part in creating the crisis on Wall Street that caused millions to lose their jobs,” Owens said. “During tough economic times when our local dealers are trying to expand their business and create jobs, they do not need new and uncertain regulations from Washington.”

Opened in 1975, the St. Luke organization has provided long term care and rehabilitation services to thousands of county residents and remains one of the largest private employers in the area.

Recently guests gathered at G.S. Steamers for a “Meet the Candidate” event hosted by Ellery Terpening. Terpening is running for Oswego County Sheriff.

Brian S. Buchanan, Principal of G. Ray Bodley High School, announces that graduation exercises for the Class of 2010 will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fulton Community Center.

The next meeting is June 29,2010 at the Oswego Public Library in the community room down stairs.

Now, thanks to AmeriCorps member Cosima Sokal-Davidson, visitors can easily identify some of the birds they’re seeing at Camp Hollis. Cosima created an interpretive display board to help people learn more about some of the typical birds that can be seen from the camp’s shore.
