Catholic Charities Offers Food Sense Program
Catholic Charities of Oswego County is helping families throughout Oswego County make their food dollars stretch a little further through their participation in the Food Sense Program.
Oswego Industries, Inc. is currently piloting a program that incorporates physical exercise into the daily routines of its Production supervisors and employees. Called “The Seventh Inning Stretch,†the program was developed by Oswego Industries’ Physical Therapist, Laurie Mills, and will be conducted twice daily on the work lines at the organization’s Fulton locations.
Ground was broken Friday, September 25, on the river side of the 1905 Carnegie structure, to build a four-story elevator tower on the rear of the building. “The project will be completed in two sections,†Library Director Penny Kerfien said. “The first part of the project will be to construct the tower, on the river side of the building, from ground level to the roof.â€Â
